The introduction of electricity and establishment of the railroad in the Miami, Florida area marked the beginning of Hialeah. This city, which is actually considered a suburb of Miami, boasts a rich musical history.

The primary use of locksets during the 1800’s was to keep the Native American tribesmen out of homes and businesses. European settlers thought the tribesmen were uncivilized. As such, they were fearful of most native tribes.
